Eliza Mada Dalian emerges as a powerful new voice in the fields of spirituality, energy medicine and personal transformation with her multi award winning spiritual guidebook and her groundbreak-ing new healing method known as DHM – Dalian Healing Method.
“If you want to discover how to live as a fully conscious being in the world while simultaneously undertaking your spiritual journey, In Search of the Miraculous, a multi-award winner, contains the signposts to follow.” – Jeanette J. Jennis, US Review of Books
“I enjoyed reading Mada’s book In Search of the Miraculous: Healing into Consciousness. It has the ring of authenticity and offers a simple and elegant map of the path of enlightenment.” – Deepak Chopra
It’s a bit unusual for any book to be the recipient of six book awards, but then again, In Search of the Miraculous: Healing into Consciousness isn’t your usual book. This deeply personal and heart-opening book, which took seven years to write, is filled with ageless wisdom. It offers a fresh new perspective on healing, awakening, and the human search out of fear, pain, and suffer-ing. Accordingly, it was honored as a finalist in the Best Books of the Year Awards, Indie Book Awards and Indie Excellence Awards, and was recognized for its excellence in independent publishing by the Eric Hoffer Award, honored by the prestigious Nautilus Award, and was given the top prize as the Book of the Year in the Living Now Book Awards, recognizing the year’s very best lifestyle books that help readers attain healthier, more fulfilling and productive lives.
Affectionately known as “Mada,” Dalian is a self-realized spiritual teacher and master healer. In addition, she is the founder of a groundbreaking new healing method known as DHM, or Dalian Healing Method. Through this method, she brings a new approach to healing and spirituality, by first identifying the root cause of pain, illness, and energetic blocks and then miraculously remov-ing old imprints and programs from the body’s cellular memory. The resulting outcome; a quick restoration of physical, mental, and emotional health, as well as profound spiritual transforma-tion. Mada’s international travels bring a fresh new perspective on healing and spiritual awakening and offer clarity, guidance, and tools for transformation to both individuals and organizations.

First Annual Living Now Book Awards Promote Books for Better Living
Book publishing has come a long way, baby. Since Gutenberg’s Bible, authors and publishers have been producing books to help their readers live better, and now a book awards contest has been created to recognize and reward books that help readers attain healthier, more fulfilling, and productive lives. The first annual Living Now Book Awards were presented on Earth Day 2009.
People all over the planet are sensing the ever-quickening pace of technology and consumerism, and realizing the need to slow down and find a balance with the natural world around them. We need to work, play, and spend time with family and friends. We need good nutrition, exercise, and relaxation. We need to keep ourselves healthy, and need to keep the Earth healthy – today, and for future generations.
The gold, silver and bronze medalists in the first annual Living Now Book Awards offers a list of books that will help readers learn about enriching their lives in wholesome, Earth-friendly ways. The awards are presented by Jenkins Group of Traverse City, Michigan, where they’ve been involved in book packaging, marketing and distribution since 1988.
“Jenkins Group is dedicated to promoting books that enlighten readers, bring families together, and make the world a safer, healthier place,” said company founder Jerrold Jenkins. "Our book awards contests were created to bring recipients the credibility and publicity they need to further their book marketing and sales success."
The Living Now Book Awards celebrate the innovation and creativity of newly published books in lifestyle categories from cooking and entertaining to fitness and travel. The awards are open to all newly-published books written in English and intended for the North American market.
“Lifestyle publishing categories such as home, health, family and personal development are the fastest growing segments of book publishing today,” said Jenkins Group Awards Director Jim Barnes. “These Living Now award winners make up a must-read list for gaining knowledge about the life improvement goals we’d all like to achieve.”
In all, 96 medals were awarded in 28 categories, chosen from 545 total entries. In addition, five books were named Living Now Books of the Year, deemed by the judges as best representing the spirit of the Awards and covering aspects of mind, body, spirit, home and community. They are:
The Urban Homestead: Your Guide to Self-Sufficient Living in the Heart of the City, by Kelly Coyne and Erik Knutzen (Process); Show Me How: 500 Things You Should Know, by Derek Fagerstrom, Lauren Smith & the Show Me Team (Collins); ...experiencing home...a guide to finding joy in your home, by Jon R. A New Book Expands on A New Earth: Another Vancouver Author takes Eckhart Tolle’s Concepts a Couple of Steps Further
VANCOUVER, CANADA, April, 2008 – In the midst of Oprah Winfrey’s global showcasing of Eckhart Tolle’s A New Earth – a book which has encouraged millions to contemplate a new spirituality – an emerging Vancouver spiritual teacher, Eliza Mada Dalian, expands on Tolle’s message in her newly released book, IN SEARCH OF THE MIRACULOUS: Healing into Consciousness – an essential “how-to” spiritual manual on living in the Now.
Just as you thought you might have heard it all about spiritual awakening, Dalian addresses the difficulties we face in practicing stillness and presence in a modern world. She presents a luminous step-by-step guidebook filled with practical instruction on how to transform the ego-mind, with all its pains, fears and struggles, into consciousness and experience inner stillness. To become fully present, Dalian states, we must first heal our wounded ego into a healthy one so it is ripe enough to drop. With clarity and potent insight, the author reveals the stages of ego development and transformation, calling both the journey to awakening and awakening itself healing into consciousness.
“The concepts covered in this book take the concepts covered in Eckhart Tolle’s books a couple of notches further,” says doctor Dorley Knifel, M.D., “I am quite excited about this book because there is a lot of new material to integrate into my toolkit of understanding… It feels like a new door opening and a whole bunch of work is now possible.”
The recipient of outstanding early acclaim, IN SEARCH OF THE MIRACULOUS: Healing into Consciousness may be the #1 contribution of its kind for this year. Offered not only by a self-realized teacher but also a master healer, this grounded, comprehensive, and often extraordinary perspective on spiritual growth is a rare find - especially when the author presents her very own groundbreaking new healing method – DHM (Dalian Healing Method) – a method which helps to quickly release the suppressed thoughts and emotions stored within the body that keep the ego-mind alive. The results are instantaneous, radical transformation.
To live a conscious life and be in presence we must each courageously face our fears and unconscious darkness, viewing pain not as a “problem,” but as a necessary step and teacher in our evolution towards greater health and consciousness. “When we try to avoid illness, pain, loneliness, and death, we also avoid finding our true being that never dies.”
“Existence uses many teachers, each with a unique language, to point to the same Truth. This is how the universe provides for our diverse individual needs,” says Dalian. “The word that points to my message is not so much awakening, as it is transformation. To experience stillness and presence in the Now, we must first transform our own unconsciousness into consciousness, and the way to do that is through self-awareness. In essence, Tolle’s message pointing to presence and stillness is an outcome of self-aware consciousness. ”
IN SEARCH OF THE MIRACULOUS: Healing Into Consciousness is available at Barnes & Noble, Indigo & Chapters, www.amazon.com, and most major bookstores across USA and Canada.
